Love Cheese? Love Beer? Then this event is for you!

On Saturday, April 14th the Robert Mondavi Institute presents the fourth annual Cheese Loves Beer.

Around the globe there is an astonishing diversity of cheeses and beers. Whilst aging cheese at its birthplace is essential for the evolution of specific cheese quality attributes, quite the opposite is the case for beer. For most ales and lagers it is “downhill” from the time they are packaged and they certainly don’t benefit from travel. Yet we can celebrate the diversity of beer styles by looking for more local brews created according to the values of traditional international styles. This year we will pair eight cheeses drawn from across the planet with eight beers from much closer to home but which illustrate the diversity of products available locally.

*Discounted registration, along with early registration for all Friends of the RMI. If you have yet to join, membership starts at $100, with funds being used to support outreach and research.
