UC Irvine professor arrested for plotting mass killing

Not sure to what to think of it, but glad the guy was caught (if the allegations are true of course).

Rainer Klaus Reinscheid, 48, an associate professor in UC Irvine’s departments of pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology and molecular biology and biochemistry, is accused for setting fire to his late son’s high school. After his arrest, investigators discovered emails on Reinscheid’s cellphone addressed to himself and his wife from April. He described detailed plans to “burn down University High School, commit sexual assaults, purchase firearms and murder school officials and students, and then kill himself,” the district attorney’s office said.
